The Dimensions of Wellness

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) recognizes eight "dimensions" of wellness.  Wellness from a broad standpoint, can be synomous with being healthy in all aspects of one's life.  Taylor Wellness Center, Inc. believes, alongside SAMHSA, that all dimensions are interconnected and the impact of trauma can influence the dimensions in many ways, based upon one's experience, culture, upbringing, and beliefs.  We can help you identify the impacted areas and collaboratively create safe ways to take steps to re-focusing the dimensions.
